A brow lamination is a low maintenance way to achieve fuller, perfectly defined brows. This procedure is non-invasive; I use a three step, 100% vegan routine to reshape and set the brow hairs into place to create a more uniform and polished look. If you’re looking to enhance your brows without the need for daily grooming, brow lamination may be the solution you’ve been searching for.
It’s important to note, if you have recently undergone microblading or tattooing on your eyebrow area, you should wait until your skin has fully healed before booking a brow lamination service. You should also use caution if you have sensitive skin or skin issues.
The results of a brow lamination can last from 4-6 weeks, but ultimately depends on your lifestyle. If you swim or sweat often, the effects may not last as long as some.
The brow lamination process
To begin, we eyebrow area to remove any oils or makeup. Please arrive to your appointment without makeup if possible.
We then begin applying the perming solution. I use a three-step, 100% vegan routine. Each step is left on the eyebrows for several minutes and then removed before the next step is applied.
The first step relaxes your brow hairs with a cysteamine-based formula that is gentle and safe for the skin. The formula weakens the disulfide bonds in your brow hairs, which allows them to be easily formed to the desired shape.
The next step restores those bonds in the hairs with a setting lotion, allowing the brow hairs to hold their new shape and arrangement.
The final step conditions and revitalizes your eyebrows. This formula is nourishing and plumping, leaving you with fuller looking brows.
A brow lamination is low maintenance; after 24 hours, you can do everything you normally do such as wear makeup and get them wet.
